30 Years of Dedicated and Caring Service
Here’s how your donations have been used during the
30-year history of the Markey Cancer Foundation:

Donations received constructed
the four buildings that now comprise the UK Markey Cancer Center:
- The Ben F. Roach Cancer Care Facility (1986)
- The Dorothy Enslow Combs Research Facility (1989)
- The M. Margrite Davis and Ralph E. Mills MRISC Facility (1992)
- The Marylou Whitney and John Hendrickson Cancer Facility
for Women (2001)
The Foundation continues to raise millions
for the Markey Cancer Center to:
- advance cancer research programs and promising young researchers,
- foster innovative patient care,
- purchase state-of-the-art scientific equipment, and
- endow chairs and professorships to recruit and retain exceptional
doctors at the Markey Cancer Center.
