Good StewardsOver our 28 year history, 90 cents out of every dollar raised has gone to support our cancer programs. The other ten cents was used for general administration and fund raising programs. There are many ways to make a donation to the Markey Cancer Foundation: Cash, Check or Credit CardMost gifts to the Markey Cancer Foundation are in the form of cash. Checks should be made payable to the Markey Cancer Foundation. Annual GivingThe mission of the Annual Giving Fund is to support the MCF in the here and now: the Annual Giving Fund can step in, providing flexible, immediate funds. Its purpose is to ensure the MCF has the dexterity to act on the needs that arise each year. Honor and Memorial GiftsFor special occasions, many people have found great satisfaction in making honor and memorial gifts to the Markey Cancer Foundation. The acknowledgement of these gifts will be sent to whomever the donor directs. Major GiftsContributions of $50,000 or more enable researchers to pursue new avenues of research and clinical initiatives. Legacy of Hope SocietyGifts made through wills and estate planning provide donors with tax savings and other financial benefits. The most important value of your gift is the hope and compassion it offers to cancer patients and their families.
